march says rrrroooooaaaarrrrr

4 inches of rain followed by 4 inches of snow over the last few days here- if that's not a March that's coming in like a lion then I don't know what is! (well, an ice storm maybe)

We had a snow day again today, the 3rd one this year out here. We're starting to wonder if it has anything to do with us?! Naahhhh, always a God thing. He's blessed these dear southerners out here with lots of fun adventures in the rapidly melting slush, and we stay inside and relish our time in REAL snow we had in Nebraska over Christmas!

The kids had 'school' today anyway, as Wilsonator has been asking Sis to teach him division and she wanted him to take multiplication timed tests first...so it's been in session all morning! (yes, they're a buncha nerds, eh?)

FirstMan's office was closed until noon, so he got some extra study time in for Hebrew class tonight.

Time in Psalm 136 today displays our God at the beginning of time and throughout the steps He took to shepherd His ever straying people. So many times they strayed, and over and over the verses proclaim..."For His lovingkindness is everlasting". It's a humbling reality that I stray over and over again, day after day, and that He is loving and kind ever still...everlasting. That is mercy!!!

We're planning to have sandwiches, veggies and fruit in a 'picnic' tonight upstairs in the media room. The kids and I try to plan something unique when Daddy is away at class, as we all miss his presence and our evening walk through the Old Testament after supper. We're up to Deuteronomy now, and it's been a great ride! I feel so blessed to have a wonderfully gifted teacher right in my own house explaining the truths of God's Word to my children each day! Since class is on Monday nights this semester, this is our -gap- in the lineup. We borrowed a kid movie from a friend last night at Bible study and we'll get to watch while we eat.
